[Sollux x Heartbroken!Reader x Karkat] Pt. 3

You had finally made your way back over to Karkat, after getting into your bathing suit and making your way through the sand again.

"Karkat I'm b-" You stopped then and there seeing something horrifying right in front of your eyes.

There was...a bunch of girls around him! Where'd they come from?! Your shock quickly turned to anger, as you glared at them all from behind.

Your anger seemed to spread to them as one of the girls had noticed and spoke up.

"Does anyone else feel that?" The girl asked as she looked to her friends.

"Feel what?" Another asked, having no clue what the other was talking about.

The first girl slowly turned her head back looking behind her as she saw you standing there, and a visible black looking aura completely around you.

"G-Guys..." The first one stuttered, as she had started to shake, and pointed to you slowly.

"What?" The rest of them all asked, looking over to where she had freaking out as well.

"A-A....Ahhh!!" They all screamed, and quickly dashed off far away from you.

"Hmph." You crossed your arms over your chest, and watched them run with a small smirk across your face.

Karkat blinked in surprise as the girls had so suddenly ran off like that, he wondered what would make them all jump like that.

Turning his head around he saw you standing there in your bathing suit, and soon a candy red blush found it's way across his cheeks.

"{N-Name}..." Karkat stuttered, and looked up at you.

You looked down at him, and tilted your head to the side.

"Hm? What is it Karkat?"

Karkat glanced off to the side, and managed to speak up.

"You..uh..look good."

You blinked a bit. Did Karkat just really tell you you looked good? You couldn't help, but have a little blush also that seemed to find it's way to your own cheeks.

"O-Oh uh..thanks." You stuttered out, and glanced off to the other side away from him.

Both of you stood there in silence for several minutes, as both your hearts were racing pretty fast.

It was until you broke the silence then and were brave enough to speak up again.

"Hey you want to go into the water?" You asked looking back over to him with a tiny smile.

Karkat looked back over to you in silence for a moment before nodding his head 'yes'.

You smiled more and grabbed onto his hand helping him up, but also pulling on his arm at the same time trying to make him hurry up.

"Well c'mon then we don't have all day!" You said in excitement.

"I'm coming, I'm coming. Slow the fuck down." He said, and stood up soon being pulled to the ocean by you.

You giggled small as you ran toward the ocean, pulling Karkat along with you and soon enough you were both in the water together.

"Cold!" You squeaked as you stood in the water, your eyes closed tight.

Karkat watched as you shivered a bit in the water, as he seemed to be perfectly fine.

"So I'm guess I shouldn't do this?" He asked only to then splash water at you.

You jumped a bit as the cold water hit your side and back, and opened up your eyes seeing Karkat there laughing.

Narrowing your eyes a bit you then had a small smirk on your face, and suddenly then splashed him back but harder.

As the water hit Karkat he looked back at you then narrowing his own eyes, and you stood there just grinning to him.

"So it's going to be like that,huh?" He asked.

"Seems so." You replied, and smirked once again.

"Then this means war!" Karkat yelled.

The two of you started splashing at each other none stop, and soon were going to get each other completely soaking. But in the end you knew this was going to be a fun day with Karkat.

-Bit Of A Time Skip-

It was dusk as the sun was already going down, and Karkat and you were quietly walking down the side of the beach. As the water washed up to your guys feet covering them in cold water for only a little bit.

You were happy to have been doing this with Karkat, you were even a bit surprised he asked you to go for a walk suddenly. Although it was only because he wanted to tell you something, and with that you had seemed to say yes right away.

Finally you two had stopped where now you were able to see the sun as if it was setting right in front of you, and it was absolutely gorgeous.  

"{Name}." You heard Karkat say then.

"Yeah?" You asked turning your head to him.

"There's something I've been meaning to tell you for a while now, and I thought sense now seemed like a good time I would tell you." Karkat continued.

"What is it?" You asked in a bit of a curious tone.

Karkat turned to you then, and softly grabbed onto your hands. Making you blush immediately.

"You know ever sense that day you broke up with Sollux, and you and I spent the rest of the day together sitting watching movies. I couldn't help but notice..I felt something being next to you..it was really strange at first because I had no fucking clue what it was. It soon started growing quickly, and just....dammit! What I'm trying to say is I'm flushed for you {Name}!" Karkat said, and a blush showed on his own grey cheeks as he looked to you.

You stood there in silence as you tried to take in suddenly on what he had said.

Did he just say what you think he just said? That answer would be a yes.

Your cheeks suddenly then grew redder then before. As you stood there in shock for the most part, but you were also very happy to hear him say it as well.

"K-Karkat..I-I..I'm flushed for you too!" You said, and threw your arms around him making the troll stumble back.

A small smile had shown across Karkat's lips as he held you, "So..{Name}..Will you be my Matesprit?"

You nodded your head quickly, and pulled back a bit looking at him. "Yes of course Karkat."

Karkat smiled a bit more, and leaned in soon placing his warm lips on top of your own kissing you. Quickly without a second thought you pressed your lips back and kissed him.

This was the best day ever for you, and nothing could mess this new relationship up. Nothing at all.

Or so you thought.
